Become a Volunteer 

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Friends of Price House. We rely on dedicated volunteers to help with hands-on projects and programs as well as conventional office work. 

When you become a volunteer, it connects you to the community and makes it a better place for all. Helping out with the smallest tasks can create a real difference in the lives of people.

Below are just a few of the volunteer opportunities. 

Curatorial Assistant Care for, inventory, and organize historical objects.

Exhibits Volunteer: Set up and tear down different exhibits throughout the year.

Programs Leader/Assistant: Coordinate our educational programs and tours for groups, organizations, and schools.

Maintenance & Preservation: Assist in maintaining historical structures. This may include but is not limited to: changing light bulbs, cleaning, painting, electrical work, plumbing, and landscaping. What you volunteer to do is based on your interests.

Administration such as: answering phones, filing, and inventory control.

Social Media Manager Marketing, Graphic Designer, and our Guides.
  
Guest Services: Work in the gift shop and visitor center. (opening in 2024)

If you have a special interest or talent not listed we would love to hear from you as well.

Be sure to include if you have a specific skill, trade, or expertise that you would like to share or offer (e.g. historical research,  plumber, event coordinator).
